This Longhorn Steakhouse Parmesan Chicken recipe

This Longhorn Steakhouse Parmesan Chicken recipe is my favorite way to create chicken that tastes like it came from a restaurant at home. That crunchy, cheesy coating on the outside and exquisitely delicate chicken on the interior is just too good to pass up. It brings that steakhouse charm directly to your table.
The best part about this recipe is that it makes the chicken really moist while still giving it the ideal golden crust. The mix of fresh Parmesan and Italian spices makes layers of flavor that will make you feel like a master cook. Also, making it is a lot easier than you might imagine.
Ingredients

- Four boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup of bread crumbs that have been seasoned with herbs and spices
- Two large eggs
- Flour: half a cup
- 1 cup of shredded mozzarella
- Garlic: 2 cloves, minced
- Olive Oil: 2 teaspoons
Instructions
- Set the oven to 375°F and gently grease the baking dish.
- Put the flour, egg wash, and seasoned bread crumb mixture in separate bowls.
- Put flour on it, dip it in egg, and then cover it with the cheesy bread crumb mixture.

- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Sear each piece for 3 to 4 minutes on each side, or until it is a gorgeous golden brown.
- Put your mozzarella-Parmesan mix and minced garlic on top.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and the chicken is 165°F.
Tips for the Best Parmesan Chicken
Always use fresh Parmesan cheese. It makes a big difference in how it tastes and how well it melts. Pounding your chicken to an equal thickness makes ensuring it cooks perfectly every time. If your cheese starts to brown too soon, cover it with foil. And don’t overlook that important time to rest after baking to keep all those great fluids within.
Want to get ready ahead of time? Put everything together and chill it for up to 24 hours before baking. Make sure your chicken is absolutely dry and your oil is very hot before searing it to get the crispiest coating. Pre-shredded cheese is easy to use, but freshly grated cheese makes a big difference in taste and texture.
Serving Suggestions
I like to serve this with creamy garlic mashed potatoes and a vibrant Caesar salad. Don’t forget some crusty bread to mop up the cheese that melts on the platter! It feels even more amazing when you drink a cold glass of Pinot Grigio.

Storage and Variations
This chicken stays fresh in the fridge for up to three days if you store it in an airtight container. Use your oven instead of the microwave to keep that crispy coating when you heat it up again. You can also freeze individual servings if you’re meal planning. Just thaw them overnight before reheating.
If you want your chicken to be even juicier, try using thighs. You could also add sautéed spinach under the cheese for a tasty touch. Want some heat? Add some red pepper flakes to your bread crumbs or use Pepper Jack cheese in your topping mix.
